The Epiko ecosystem includes digital games, board games, characters, artwork, NFTs, apps, events, and all related assets created and operated by Wharf Street Studios Ltd. This Intellectual Property Policy explains how the Epiko brand and its associated content may be used, what protections apply, what community content is permitted, and what activities require prior permission.

This policy applies to every product and service under the Epiko Universe, including Epiko Regal, Epiko World, Epiko Bricks, Epiko Smash, Epiko Soul Dash, Epiko Valley, Epiko Market, Epiko Hub, Epiko-Con, Epiko AI Studio, Epiko Shows, and all future games, apps, multimedia productions, and immersive experiences.


Scope

This policy governs all intellectual property belonging to the Epiko Universe. It includes all digital games across mobile, PC, and console; physical products such as the Epiko Valley board game, tokens, puzzles, and comics; web platforms including Epiko Market, Epiko Hub, and event systems; AI tools under Epiko AI Studio; ticketing, media and entertainment apps under the Epiko brand; and all multimedia content, cinematics, trailers, illustrations, UI designs, audio, sound effects, AR or VR experiences, and future products. Brand assets such as logos, wordmarks, characters, token designs, colour systems, and fonts are also covered.


Ownership

All intellectual property rights for the Epiko Universe are solely owned by Wharf Street Studios Ltd. This includes characters, artwork, gameplay systems, digital assets, physical components, brand assets, lore, writing, music, sound design, cinematics, packaging, and all media formats. Copyright registrations have been filed for Epiko Valley and additional filings apply to digital and multimedia products as they evolve. All trademarks and claimed marks are protected under applicable UK and international laws.


Protected Elements

The Epiko Universe contains original characters, stories, artwork, worldbuilding, mechanics, audio, and visual elements. Characters such as Yama, Indra, Bheema, Jwala, Ghato, and others are cultural representations designed specifically for the Epiko Universe and are not religious depictions. The visual style, naming conventions, ability design, narrative structure, game rules, cards, puzzles, token shapes, board design, UI layouts, animations, icons, and digital interactions are all protected works. Physical elements such as board components, illustrations, packaging, tokens, coins, puzzles, comics, and rulebooks are also covered. Digital assets including in-game models, effects, cinematics, voice lines, interfaces, NFTs, metadata formats, marketplace files, and reward systems belong exclusively to Wharf Street Studios.


Fan-Made Content (Permitted)

Wharf Street Studios supports non-commercial fan creativity. Fans may create expansions, homebrew rules, fiction, lore extensions, interpretations, 3D printed tokens for personal use, tutorials, gameplay videos, livestreams, commentary, reviews, memes, cosplay, fan art, and derivative personal content, provided all such creations are strictly non-commercial. Creators may upload gameplay content and may monetise videos through ad-supported platforms such as YouTube. Any fan-made creation must state clearly that it is unofficial and that Epiko is owned by Wharf Street Studios.


Activities Requiring Permission

Commercial exploitation of Epiko intellectual property is not allowed without explicit written permission. This includes selling merchandise, 3D printed tokens, fan expansions, custom rulebooks, digital recreations, apps, games, AR or VR experiences, or any product derived from Epiko IP. Crowdfunding projects, whether through Kickstarter or similar platforms, cannot use Epiko assets or themes without approval. Businesses may not use Epiko branding for marketing, product packaging, promotions, or public events unless licensed. Recreating Epiko Regal, Epiko World, Epiko Valley, or any part of the Epiko ecosystem digitally is prohibited unless permission is granted. Uploading high-resolution images of artwork, comic pages, game boards, cards, puzzles, or rulebooks is also prohibited.


Digital and Blockchain Restrictions

All NFTs and digital assets on Epiko Market are protected. Users may resell officially issued NFTs but may not mint new NFTs, clone or modify Epiko artwork, release derivative token collections, or develop blockchain-based games or crypto tokens using Epiko intellectual property.


Events and Cosplay

Cosplay based on Epiko characters is permitted for personal use and for non-commercial media content. Epiko-Con materials, branding, badges, and event identity are protected and cannot be used for unofficial events or for commercial activities without approval. Paid events or tournaments using Epiko branding require a license.


Licensing

Wharf Street Studios offers commercial licensing for board game cafés, event organisers, merchandise partners, production houses, retailers, digital game studios, and businesses seeking official use of Epiko intellectual property. Requests may be submitted to [email protected].


Cultural Representation Statement

Epiko incorporates cultural themes inspired by Indian, African, Southeast Asian, Arabian, and Latin American epics. All characters and stories are fictionalised cultural representations adapted for entertainment purposes. The Epiko Universe should not be interpreted as an attempt to replicate or portray religious figures or practices.


Enforcement

Wharf Street Studios adopts a friendly but firm enforcement approach. Violations of this IP policy may result in takedown notices, DMCA actions, account restrictions, removal of content, or legal action where required. Protection of the Epiko brand, assets, and cultural integrity is essential to ensure the long-term sustainability of the ecosystem and the community.

This Intellectual Property Policy may be updated periodically as the Epiko Universe expands. All updates will be published on the official Epiko website, and continued engagement with Epiko products indicates acceptance of the latest version.
